Melton Mowbray Knitting Club
The Club began in the town of Melton Mowbray (Leicestershire) in 1984.
It moved to (Captains Close School) in Asfordby, just outside the town in 1985
and now meets at Bradgate Flats in Asfordby.
There are approximately 20 members who meet on alternate Thursday evenings from
September through to June.
The membership embraces all levels of expertise from beginners upwards and has
a resident demonstrator, Beryl Jarvis.
Beryl not only demonstrates on all aspects
of technique, covering any requests members may have, but also is on the list
of speakers called upon by other clubs.
She is published frequently in knitting magazines.
The club also enjoys visits by outside speakers on numerous aspects of machine
knitting, and the Club committee organises outings each year to exhibitions and
places of interest to knitters.

InterKnit Machine Knitters Guild - Illinois
InterKnit MK Guild was founded in the fall of 1995
for the support, education, and fellowship of machine
knitters of all experience and expertise levels,
regardless of the make or model of machine used.
InterKnit is not affiliated with any knit shop,
is totally self-supporting thanks to the talents

Metropolitan Machine Knitters Guild of Oregon
The Metropolitan Machine Knitters Guild held its first meeting in 1985.
MMKG is a nonprofit organization that meets once a month in the Portland
Oregon metropolitan area.
The goal of MMKG is to educate machine knitters; to help advance machine
knitting skills and to help build confidence in machine knitting skills.
All makes of knitting machines are represented in the group.
Each year, in March, MMKG has a 3 day retreat. The group does some charity knitting.
